Download InDesign 2017: A Guide to Upgrading and Installing

If you purchased a new or upgrade license since January 1, 2017, you're in luck! You'll soon receive an email with your free upgrade license. Once you've received it, you can download and install the Em plug-ins from the relevant product page's Downloads sidebar.

For those who have already updated to InDesign CC 2018, don't worry if your older version has been auto-removed. You can easily reinstall your previous version by clicking on the InDesign CC entry's down arrow, selecting Other versions, and then clicking Install next to the previous version (CC 2017, most likely). This will leave your previous version untouched, so you can continue using it.

If you're eager to start exploring CC 2018 without DocsFlow, you can update, but make sure to display Advanced Options in Adobe Creative Cloud's update dialog and un-check Remove old versions. However, if you haven't updated yet and rely on DocsFlow for production purposes, it's best to hold off until we have a fixed version released.

We're excited to announce that we've released all but one of our plug-ins for Adobe's just-released InDesign CC 2018 update. One notable exception is DocsFlow, which we found had a last-minute show-stopper. We're working hard to fix and release it as soon as possible, so keep an eye on our release channel for further updates.

Overall, downloading and installing the latest version of InDesign 2017 is a straightforward process that will ensure you stay up-to-date with the latest features and improvements.
